Citizens Comment on Small Bus Routes Across Greater Chennai Metro Rail Stations

Small-busesThe citizens of greater chennai can expect 100 more new small buses to be operated as part of the multi-modal transport to access chennai metro rail train services. The MTC small bus will be pressed into service by march 2016 that will connect to all metro stations of chennai.

CMRL will issue a common ticket that will enable the passenger, commutter to take train, and bus in one single ticket. Earlier in the year of 2013 october about fifty small buses were started operating and 50 more in february 2014 that covered areas likeKorattur, Avadi, Mittanamalli, Vengambakkam, Karanodai and Madhavaram. This feeder bus passes through small lanes, arterial roads where the big buses cannot drove.
